Troubleshooting a Computer
Motherboard

Because a modern motherboard has most of the input/output devices embeded on the motherboard troubleshooting problems will be broken down by devices in other sections.
Such as if you are having video problems check the appropriate section.

Motherboard problems are generally very subtle.
By that I mean you have already been through the check list in the General Problem section and you have came to the conclusion that the motherboard has a problem

Most motherboard problems that are not processor, memory, or power related usually result in a replacement of the motherboard.
